But with adolescents, we may need to do a bit more to interest them in mindfulness.
I find it helpful to share the research with teens about mindfulness — it can help them reduce stress and anxiety, lower rates of depression, focus better on their homework, reduce test-anxiety, improve their grades (yes!), sleep better at night, and have better relationships with friends.
