Welcome to class!

Before we get started, I want to share some important information about the course — how it works and what you can expect.

Lesson Availability
The lessons will be available on the following schedule (each week contains 5 different lessons):

Tuesday, January 31: Week One: Breathe

Tuesday, February 7: Week Two: Embody

Tuesday, February 14: Catch-up week/No new content (Happy Valentine’s Day!)

Tuesday, February 21: Week Three: Move

Tuesday, February 28: Week Four: Feel

You can work through the lessons at your own pace throughout the week. You will have access to the content through March 7, 2017.

You will see all of the weeks you have access to on the left-hand side of your screen (or, if you are on a mobile device, as a drop-down menu at the top of the page).

Many people find it helpful to bookmark (and have their browser save their password for) this main course page so it’s easy to return to.

 

Comments and Community
Every week there will be a comments section — you can use this space to ask questions, share insights, and support one another.

The power of Reduce Stress with Body and Breath is that you are going on this journey with others, so I encourage you to connect as much as you’d like with our community.

Materials Needed
Many lessons will include downloadable “fun sheets” (because no one likes “worksheets!”) I encourage you get a three-ring binder or notebook for the course where you can keep track of your fun sheets. You may also wish to have a journal for reflecting on your practice.

Many people find it helpful to have a cushion for meditation. You don’t need a fancy one — a pillow or blankets will do!

Questions and Coaching Calls

Throughout the week, you can post question or comments on the individual lesson pages. I will respond to comments throughout the week, and I will also make sure to address questions on our coaching calls.

The coaching calls will take place on Tuesday, February 7, and Monday, March 6 at 6pm Central Time. You will find links to the coaching call pages in the course menu. The calls will be live — with a comment box below the video screen where you can ask questions and get personal feedback and support.
